In the old times, the University was named by many different names. In the year 1997, the university was named as Akmolinsk State Medical Academy. However, in 2009, the institute was renamed as Astana Medical University.

Astana Medical University (AMU) is known as one of the biggest and the most dynamic medical universities in Kazakhstan. Eligibility Criteria Of Admission in Astana Medical University
- Student must be 17 years old .
- Student has passed 12th examination with PCB stream with minimum 60% of marks.

Step 2: Visa approval and invitation will provide within 10 days after receiving passport copy.
Step 3: Visa stamping from Kazakh embassy in Islamabad, please take documents in embassy.
